This beer is very good!

 

Late start on here tonight. Here’s what happened last night. I split beer with a good friend. We had some crazy ABV stuff including Dogfish Head Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout, Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA, and a 2017 Bell’s Black Note Stout.


After my son’s baseball game he and I went to the Cardinals vs. Cubs game. I had a Tank 7, we got free jerseys, and a Cardinals victory.


Now having a Dragon’s Milk Solera.

 

There are suddenly a lot of insects outside!

Not sure if this is the closer or if I have another in me. I do like me some Rare Barrel. We don’t get much of it in Missouri, but outside of Side Project and Crooked Stave they are one of my go to wild ale breweries. So much guava here!

Complicated Times

 

This beer is about one month old and is drinking to perfection. I know many get sick of hearing Treehouse- so do I. I even get sick of drinking it...but rarely. I was going about every 45 days when I had time, buying a case, no more. So not a fanatic. But the point was that some of those big fruity IPAs can benefit some time in the can. The yeast seems to take a bit of a change as well. I like this one now.
Im rambling..

 

Second beer here, had this before and liked it, a solid Dopplebock.

mine says bottled on 3/16/21 but i was referring to the barrel aging, not aging after bottling

With Nelson Sauvin & Simcoe Hops. Not bad a good hot weather beer

 

More successful with the second selection of the Evening Without IPAs. High Water Brewing “Campfire Stout”. Very good stout flavored with graham crackers, molasses and other undisclosed but allegedly natural ingredients. Complimented by the added flavors and not as sweet as I expected.

 

Ive tried alot of that. I have arthritis in my lower back for one. Just bothers me when I stop. I excercise almost everyday. I worked 10 hrs today and 11 hours yesterday. Neither day did I sit down once. Literally. I also ate very little. I took a 5 minute break today. I also get dehydrated. I definitely dont drink enough water. I got dizzy last week after I played and am pretty sure its because I wasnt drinking enough h2o
