    Stumbled upon this at my local import shop... Decided to give it a go since it appears to be about 3 months old (quite fresh for an import!) and my shop keeps everything cold at all times.

    Really great Czech Pils, not disappointed!! It is interesting to read about this breweries trademark dispute with Budweiser!

    Nothing else new - at least for right now. Going with more Hoptimum (now that I've also got some Liquid Poem in the fridge).

    I know they tweaked the recipe for Hoptimum a couple years back, and while I still really like this beer, these bottles just haven't seemed the same. A little more syrupy, less brightly piney. It's probably more my palate than anything, but still.

    Logyard Brewing - Gentlemen's Agreement (6.5% IPA) - Overall rating = 3.67

    I'm having this now after cleaning the house and then going for a walk and dodging the showers here in Western, PA. I was gifted this can by my local merchant. The brewery is about 3 hours from me in the PA Wilds, close to Straub Brewery.

    From a 16oz canned on 2021-04-27
    A - Fairly-clear gold with a 1-finger white head that sticks around leaving good lace
    S - Mild/subdued with whiffs of pineapple, bread and earthy spice.
    T - Lightly-toasted white bread with orange marmalade. Mint. Moderately bitter in the finish; appropriate for the style.
    M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation. Crisp, moderately dry.
    O - A good brew. Needs more oomph in the aroma. Well fermented and a pleasant but not challenging taste.

    And for an appropriate video/soundtrack; you may enjoy this trailer from the 1947 Academy Award winner by a similar name.
