Delicious coffee forward Imperial Stout! I better start my fire before I get too far into this beauty. Canned 5/21/21. Poured at 52° straight from my chiller. Cheers y’all!

 

Delicious! Very glad this has no lactose, as I've been missing straight-up fruited sours. Lately, it seems like everything is a "pastry"-style sour when it comes to this type of thing, and I personally typically prefer the bone-dry tartness most of the time. Good stuff. Doing a final round of h/w for the night, then probably gaming for a bit.

 

Doc, did you hit Wedge Brewing in Asheville? I may have missed it if you did, great beer! Cheers mate!

 

I saw this at a bottle shop during a recent trip to Portland, ME. A stout without toaster strudels in it? No lactose either? Less than 22% abv? Holy shit, have I traveled back in time.

Enjoying a pint of it whilst I homebrew a dark mild.

 

Local HEB has been carrying Prairie Artisan Ales offerings for awhile, but I generally pass due to the cost. A 4 pak of their sour ales goes for 9.99. They recently started putting them in the singles bin...for 1.99. Guess I'm a sucker, but SALE! They are all very tasty beers. This is Vape Tricks, a sour ale aged on tart cherries. The cherry is there, just right, not overwhelming.

Saw we only had a couple of pages here so decided to jump in. Drinking a 2018 Trillium - Long Life wild ale aged on Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc grapes, Hallertau Blanc hops and peach in oak barrels. Nice and tart, acidic and juicy, lychee flavors, almost like a crisp natural wine, pretty tasty. Got my second shot of Moderna last night, and seeing @CreightonSM here and well gives me some more reassurance. Cheers BAs!
