What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3161

After work beer

The key is too drink these not too cold or not too warm. Then, they're actually ok. Cheers all!

 

You just said what we were all thinking.

 

Fat Heads just canned/released IBUsive... And it is probably the best IPA I've had in years and one of the few that made me step back and say "Wow...".

Intense, explosive hop presence. Tropical with a touch of onion, herbal dank. The nose on this beer is just amazing.

Taste is no different... Bright hop character, intense bitterness, dry. The malt does its thing to add a touch of flavor but not distract. Its just right.

Easily a 5/5 from me.

 

Whatta surreal day. One of my good friends buried both of his parents today. Now? A little tail gaiting while getting ready to go out with friends to celebrate a birthday.





I raise my glass to the celebration of life.

Today I bought two four packs to send to Advocates who have shared deliciousness with me. If it’s anything like what was on tap for a while, then it will be excellent.

Don’t worry @micada, I won’t send you yellow beer

 

Time for lots of new things this evening:
Kangaroo Burger with Blackberry Galaxy IPA. Some grilled sweet taters and zucchini on the side.

It’s been years since my last Heineken and this was my first from a can, so my expectations were high for at least a “good” beer, but it was refreshing.

 

Hiked in the New Hampshire’s White Mountains today with my eldest and the dog.
We always pack a beer to with lunch, and this day was no different: Treehouse’s Oak conditioned Pilsner Trailbreaker. Tasted great after the climb up.


Home now and getting ready to grill up some dinner, and enjoying this delicious ipa in the mean time.
