I did read about that. It must have been so horrifying for people who grew up in Nevada playing hockey.

 

Centennial from Founder's - love this stuff and its a real bargain. I know . . . bargain and (semi) craft IPA together in the same breath . . .hmmm.

 

Urban Chestnut STL IPA straight from the can.

 

Raspberry, blueberry, lemon sour IPA. There might be a bit much going on here for me personally but it’s refreshing nonetheless. Cheers!

 

Dying to know what beer it was. Utica Club cheap or Schaefer Light cheap?

Seeds Unfamiliar Faces Hazy Pale Ale w/ spelt and oats (Mosaic/Idaho 7). I talked with the owner/head brewer today and he said that he lagered this for 3 weeks and used a clean Cali ale yeast. The spelt and oat proteins are what provide the haze and the soft feel. I can tell, this drinks much cleaner and drier than your typical NE pale ale. I really dig this. Bright hops, dank, and refreshing.

@Danmullens1 I just saw your question from last Saturday. I haven’t tried Beer Church in New Buffalo yet. I’ve tried to go, but it was too packed both times I attempted. Hear their wood fire pizza is outstanding but their beer is just okay. Looks like a very cool spot though.

 

For sure there's a LOT of really interesting and unique brews out there however . . .given one's physical location it can be nearly impossible to gain access to a lot of them so . . .we revert to those available at the shops within reach and at a price point that is manageable. Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Founder's, Dogfish Head, among others . . .

I wish I could speak knowledgeably about it, but the packaging says A-10 Edge, and I recall it’s a Rocky Patel.

I am a cigar noob, and had heard of the brand. The dual wrapping seemed a bit gimmicky, but it had a decent rating from someone (lol).

It seems light to me (and I don’t know if my “light” is what cigar people would call light), but tasty enough.
