Hit Bell’s and Mega-Bev in Kalamazoo today. Also made candles with the family at a maker shop and hit the Air Zoo. Now poolside with my first Short’s Sticky Icky Icky.

Post work 125° kitchen beer. Its was 96 when I walked in today. So with 3 fryers, a 12 burner stove, 2 pasta pots, a panini press, convection on 475°, and a 4 burner grill......it really was. I shit you not. But I made it through! Always do! Cheers!

 

Much needed beer after going to my office in Manhattan for the first time since early March of 2020. I could not have picked a hotter day to go to the city.

Are you a fan of Stingaree's? My wife and I birded that area hard last year while she was working in the Houston area. From Anahuac to High Island to the ferries and Bolivar Flats. She always managed to work it so we were around Stingarees at "eatin' time".
I surely miss those trips.

 

The best Nelson beers Ive had have come from @JayORear - another Nelson fanatic.

Happy Tuesday fellow beer drinkers! I hope everyone has been well, and enjoying their summers. I thought I'd check in on Scream's birthday to say hi, and that today made me think back on (as I do fairly often) his tribute day, which you all made so wonderful. I'm always so grateful for this community when I think about him. Cheers to all you wonderful folks out there! I'm having a Father Of All Tsunamis from Pelican Brewing, and a little bit of rye (he preferred that over bourbon, as I'm sure some of you know) for him tonight. May your glasses always be half-full!
