    Lunch time at Saint Arnold...its actually pretty nice out even though it is the middle of July. Out in their amazing patio/beer garden.

    I'm having a Gonzo Imperial Porter from Flying Dog. This is a really nice one and Wifey is napping on the couch so I don't have to share it. Roasted coffee & bitter chocolate notes with hops in the background for balance. Also, they completely conceal the 10% ABV.

    We’re throwing a sister party to @Screamfest at Adroit Theory, but only two people showed up. We probably should’ve told people about it to increase participation. It looks like the real thing has things starting to roll.

    Two IPAs after a NBW’d Altbier - both the pale brews are labeled “west coast” and they fit the bill well enough, bringing a back end resinous bitterness.

    Gorst Premium, at Slaughter County. Supposed to be a pilsner...too heavy, too hazy, too sweet. Still tasty...just not the pilsner I was looking for.

    Wife is having a non-fruited kettle sour Belgian dark ale called Outlane Oud Sour Brown which is interesting.
