What Northeast beer are you drinking now? (2021)

Delightful pale ale from Portland’s Belleflower, featuring cascade, citra, and centennial hops.

 

Post-mow Kölsch. The glass somehow makes it taste better.

 

my bower experience is limited. It was one of four pours/half pours I had on tap in early June. Wasn’t available in cans at that time. It was very good, as are all things fox farm, but wasn’t a wow for me. Maybe it was overshadowed by the other beers I had that day. I intend to revisit bower when I can.

 

At 4+ months old, this beer tastes even better than fresh.

Back from the dead-ish. Hope everybody is doing well. Most of my drinking lately had been fridge clean out and only few new things hence my lack of posts. Vacation started today, but it’s a staycation, and we have my wife’s family in town for a week and they’re staying with us, hooray! Let’s catchup. Cheers!

Heady and Focal are always a joy to me. Maybe it’s the infrequency with which I have them, but they remain different and better than most and I always enjoy them. Canned 6/1 and 6/3.

 

Notch Altbier, canned 3/3/21. Fridge dweller. Last of my 6 I snagged at my local shop and it was a lovely beer throughout.

Tree House, Sap, canned 6/29/21

This was drinking sublimely at a couple of weeks out. Real eye opener from a TH ipa standpoint-really ipa and not a hint of accustomed to yeast profile-bubblegum, melon. Cleaner, lighter.

Few brew better Nelson Sauvin beers than HF imo.

 

One more at the beach. So glad I always bring my own bc the burley oak drafts I’ve been having at dinner are decidedly mediocre.

Double Citra, Double Galaxy love child. THE Double IPA for me.

 

A couple of Tree House repeats. My niece passed along a couple of cans of Fleeting Moment since she wasn’t drinking much beer lately. Canned 10/8/20, so well past prime. Flavors were subtle, but tree house construction kept this in the good tier after 9 months.





Had a buddy snag me a second bottle of vanilla bean quad shot. Best of the bottle variants imo and one of my favorite stouts this year.
