Geesh, I am so glad it is almost Friday

Quite the shitty week

 

Local beer with dinner

 

I am continuing to enjoy the thirst-quenching German pilsners while in the air-conditioning down here in Florida. This is very good, though it does slightly favor a "macro" lager; however, it is dry and refreshing with a nice hop profile. It is rather rustic in mouthfeel and lacks the subtlety of flavors one usually finds in better pilsners.

Been re watching King of the Hill, like always

Just came across the episode where we find out Hank and Dusty are cousins...interesting timing

Its a great episode, Cotton gives his Cadillac to Dusty instead of Hank, and he is pissed. ZZ Top is also doing a "reality show" and it devolves into them just picking on Hank.

 

I am on my 4th CHONK Strawberry & White Chocolate and I gotta say these things are extremely crushable!

 

Some serious rain coming down and Pulpy is still happy. Cheers all.

 

The first shot of Clase Azul has been fired and was amazing. This is my first Trillium fix since 12/2019 when the fam spent a week in downtown Boston and visited the brewery. My lazy ass is actually going to review it, and it will be a 97+ score. All of our taste buds are like finger prints, but this is tasting amazing. A little props to my SF buddies making Invader coffee, guys/gals that ensured we are free tonight to live the great life.....

Life is grand and tomorrow is not guaranteed, carpe deim baby......TRAFFIC!!

 

Pounding another local favorite.....yeah, it's a tasty marzen, and I don't give a rat's ass that it is late July - it is drinking great



this "seasonal creep" bullshit talk every July-August is getting on my nerves....lighten up!

Bad to the bone. Lush, heavy, sweet, hoppy, malts that speak, kinda soft...
Easy to forget it's power.

I enjoy the stuff before the MTV era more, but if I were pressured to give an opinion, there’s some ok stuff here.


The beer can has almost the same car. Trying the Front Royal pub ale versus the last of the Bluejacket bitter. More of a malt profile from the DC brewery, a little bit more clean makeup from the north central VA brewer (though it’s still a tad cold).

I'm glad you enjoy it, but the idea of drinking an Oktoberfest beer in July is just wrong to my sensibilities.

Followed by a Farm Hand with breakfast burritos for dinner, thank you wife.
And to cap it all off, we topped out another 300k+ square foot warehouse today. They don’t call me Big Iron for nothin.
