Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup: (Only 1 of the 3 pairs correctly matched blind)

1) Golden Light (4.1%): A light beer from Anheuser in Missouri that has flavors of

2) Miller Light (4.2%): A light American lager from Wisconsin that has strong yeast and corn adjunct flavors. More malty
(Mismatched these two blind)

3) Firestone Lager (4.5%): A German helles lager from California brewed since 2000 and has smooth and easy, drinking flavors of pale malts, lemon citrus and light honey and Munich malts. Crisp and Clean
versus
4) Great Lakes’ Dortmunder Gold (5.8%): A European Export beer from Ohio that has strong bread malts, earthy honey, and light flowery flavors.

5) Three Floyd’s Barbarian Haze IPA (6.5%): A Hazy IPA from Indiana with flavors of orange, strawberry, and peach. Juicy and fruity.

6) Three Floyd’s Foggy Geezer IPA (6.8%): A juicy and resinous hazy IPA from Indiana with resinous orange, pineapple, and peach flavors.

Winners:

1) Michelo Golden Light: This one surprised me. Hard to beat Miller light in light beer. It has light and clean flavors, but also a light smooth honey note on the finish. Extremely drinkable.

4) Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold: This one has nice and balanced flavors. One of my favorite lagers to date. Malty and flavorful.

5) Three Floyd's Barbarian Haze: Interestingly much different and improvedon my second review. This one has has much more juicy and fruity flavors. More flavorful and juicy. Far more hazy-like.

Humbling when you're 1 for 3 on identifying the beer in the 3 testings. Oh well...

Apparently Air France requires a negative COVID test to allow you to fly. They won’t accept a rapid one, so you have to get a big boy. Luckily I was able to get one today. If not… Anyway, results should be available in 24-48 hours. My flight is Saturday night.
