    Agreed. Heady & Focal Banger get all the publicity but Lush is - quietly - one of the best beers around.

    Lavender is a very floral/flowery and strong herb. Seems a strange choice for a beer.

    Yeah pretty damn happy. I get out at 6 tomorrow as well with Sunday/Monday off. When a place does 95k in a week everyone is pretty damn happy.

    [​IMG] So it is a fairly cool Friday and this is my first week at the new job and I learned a lot and am enjoying it. Great group of people. Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 7/26/21. Kettlehead Brewing newest brewed mainly with Lotus, with a little Citra and Sabro hops to round it out. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.5

    Aroma is pineapple, peach, mango, honey dew, coconut, and apricot. 4.25

    Taste follows pineapple, peach, mango, honey dew, coconut, and apricot really well balanced. 4.25

    Mouthfeel is above average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8% really easy going down. 4.5

    Overall this is really nice and a little different from most NEDIPAs. I would definitely recommend this one. 4.25

    I’m inclined to agree, but years ago I had a nice stout with lavender in Slippery Rock’s North Country Brewing and it was very interesting.
