Walked in today no prep person for 2 days. Open for lunch. No Scrod cut/port, no beef tips cut/port, no salmon cut/portion, no mussels cleaned....you get the picture. Me and one other for lunch. Another crazy day. Which is why Im having another big one. Cheers!

Ha! All good, hops are really robust and IMO, no different than growing Perennials (only better). They survive the Winter with no problem and come back every year with a vengeance. Hops are just all around awesome for beer nerds: Add them to the home brew or just grow them for aesthetics. I have two plants (bines), one drapes over the deck and is more for aesthetics while the other grows up the side of our two story house (which is the one I picked from tonight for homebrewing). My bines are going on 10+ years old now, they're not expensive but Japanese Beetles and Lantern Flies have a high tendency to shred them and it gets frustrating. Check out the website:

Good luck. A judge just turned all that unemployment bonus $ back on here as the Guv implemented this wrong. Delta is going to keep a lot of workers on the sideline until there is actual incentive to go to work. Me? I just keep getting up & going to work at the hospital...

Hear that. It was more of a scheduling problem where they should have at least one prep person on. That being said the place hangs by a thread. If one person quits (which has happened not just once) the rest of us are screwed. Which would be mostly me because I hate quitters and screwing people. So Id hang until I couldnt hang anymore

My first beer from Odd Breed Wild Ales! It's spectacular! Incredibly sour and funky!

Holy shit. If those are their prices (plus gratuity!?!?) I simply would not order a beer. No way. Fuck that.

The Buckhorn Exchange (Denver's oldest steak house, boasting past clients such as Teddy Roosevelt) has the best Rocky Mountain oysters I've had.

Plus Wynkoop brewing has brewed a Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout (it, too, was tasty - I enjoyed it in 2017)...

There are other places, such as below...

I've had frog legs, rattlesnake, snails, and Rocky Mountain oysters - love 'em, plus Wynkoop Brewing made (makes?) a Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout which is pretty tasty - three balls per barrel per the brewery's notes).

Wynkoop Brewery puts them in a stout - three balls per barrel according to my review notes from 2017...:stuck_out_tongue:

The Buckhorn Exchange in Denver serves up tasty platter-fulls of the oysters, and Wynkoop Brewing Co. in Denver does brew up a stout with "three balls per barrel" according to my BA review (their web page about the beer here)...

...late note: the latest offering now upped the ball density to "six balls per barrel" (ref. https://wynkoop.com/brewery/tap-list/)...

It's not soup, but try Wynkoop's Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout - now with "six balls per barrel" as opposed to the "three balls per barrel" when I did my BA review in 2017...

And Buckhorn is the place I think I first had them, would rather have one of their wild game steaks and rattle snake red chili app though  (can't remember what they call it now).
