What beer are you drinking now? #3217

First time tasting this beer. I can say it's probably 1 of my favorite brews right with the Paulaner Marzen. Smooth, lovely head, color and smell. Paulaner is great stuff you can't go wrong with any of their brews imo.

 

After some yard work a 56th birthday beer in my new "better than good" Kolsch glass is in order.

Just made some salsa verde but used some fresh Hatch Green Chiles instead of my usual jalapeños. (Did add in a few serranos because I felt it needed more heat!) Just need to let it mingle in the fridge and it will be ready for tacos tonight.

Actually my first beer from these guys…shockingly. With all the bullshit with Scofflaw and their other bad press I never had much of an interest, plus everything I saw was months old. But this was canned 7/28 so figured I would give it a whirl.

Overall, a pretty solid beer. Nice and light, plenty of citrus.

Response from yesterday's thread to @champ103 - Thanks for the heads up on Danville Stadium. I've been to 42 MLB stadiums, but only a handful of Minor League stadiums, and need to rectify this disparity before MLB kills most/all of the minor leagues.

Another scorcher of an afternoon with a chance for evening storms. Bought me a few of these Weihenstephaner Festbier's recently. Love this one, always look forward to it every August.
