Going fruity now…Mortalis Hydra peach, blueberry, strawberry. If you read that, you know exactly what it tastes like. I might have said this was the thickest fruited sour a few weeks ago, but….then there was Drekker Chonk…the undisputed king.

Good evening, all! I rarely (like almost never) get to try any TG imperial stouts, so when I heard that the Brass Tap in Cedar Falls, IA, had Term Oil FlufferNutter on tap, I had to hurry on over. Huge aromas of vanilla and marshmallow cookie, with notes of peanut butter. Quite sweet, boozy as hell, and delicious. Paired with a quesadilla, 'cause why not?

 

Somebody say crack?

 

I’m a fan of the base beer. This is the imperial version. Mother’s Chug Chug Suckle Suckle. A 10% double NEIPA.

No. 2: SN Oktoberfest 2021. I like where this one is going. First impressions: a little fruity, not at all sweet, with a solid hop presence and a dry finish. May need a few more to get the whole picture on this. Cheers!

Glad to see this beer come back around. Almost as happy as I was to see this preview in IMAX last week. Actually, I was much happier to see the preview. Almost brought me to tears. We've waited so long. I hate you, COVID.
