With a wonderful Jolly Pumpkin Oro De Calabaza, man I forgot how great this beer is.

 

Yeah, sadly I think that's a best by date, unless it is BEER FROM THE FUTURE.

UPSIDE (edit): it's from July 3, 2021 since they date out 4 months.

 

Tonight’s dinner prep beer - Jai Alai:

 

They could be doing Euro-style dating (kinda doubt it). for the record, the last Odell IPA I had also tasted/smelled like rotting hops and it was only (supposedly) 1 month old. Hope it's otherwise, or a remnant batch, could be just heat exposure somewhere along the line. Cheers!

 

I always thought Odell uses best by dates, not canned/bottled on dates (I remember a thread about that probably many years ago now, but could be wrong).

 

This truly is one of the best beers ever created

One more day to work this week, then off Thursday through Labor Day....excited to be off - have a lot of boat prep work to do - the Annual Antique Boat Show I do every year was cancelled last year (CV19) and moved from June to Sept 11 this year....so, I have some work to do to get a few boats ready for the show....



nice - new to me - pumpkin marzen - only brought a single to try - will go back and buy a 6'er soon - very well done!
