Poured an early beer at around 16:00 because the latest OS X update took way more time than I had expected. Could not post in the meantime too ... Back on track now.

Alloy Brewing - Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava Earthshake IPA - 9% ABV

Very smooth, too smooth for a 9% ABV beer. Enjoying this on my day off work.

Pours a hazy murky orange color. The head was 2 finger, and white. The head retention was very poor, and there's no lacing on the glass.
The nose is full of orange, and it hits hard. The orange is backed up by the passionfruit and guava.
The flavor is very juicy. The guava and passionfruit hit hard up front. The backside is a hint of orange.
Juicy body. Soft and creamy. This beer, however doesn't drink like a 9% ABV beer at all, could be dangerous.
Solid IPA. Impressive, and dangerous, because it goes down easy.

 

Smart dog that can read the labels but does he have a favorite?

 

Enjoying a SW salad, some chips and salsa, and my last Mosaic Promise which was hidden in the far back of my refrigerator, but surprisingly held up well. Hope this hits regional/national distribution again next year.

Good day Advocates! Thanks @Ozzylizzard for starting today's thread with that lovely RBV Stout. Here's the 1st of 3 from a mix pack I got about a week ago. Mfr date of July 24, '21. Elysian Contact Haze Hazy IPA. It's curious. Kind of light bodied, gentle citrus & tropical fruits, pale, bitter...it's gonna be a weird review! and I'm still writing it out but I'll do my best. Good thing there's 3 more cans. Cheers everyone!! Keep on smiling!

 

My Mom unexpectedly decided to send my Jackson Browne's new album. Though 1st: forgot we are in the middle of a hurricane, and 2nd: didn't put my condo number on the address. Ha, love her so much. My complex finally got our power back, and me and my neighbors were out cleaning up the courtyard, when we saw a distraught Amazon delivery guy outside the gate. It happened to be my package ha. Anyway, since the storm is all but gone, courtyard cleaned up, power back, and taking the day off work...yeah might as well have a beer and spin some more Browne
