[IMG] Enjoying my last bottle of HyperSurface. A collab between HOMES, and Equilibrium. A coconut, milk chocolate, vanilla, barrel aged masterpiece. And smoking my second to last Java Latte. Any cigar lovers able to find these near them? All my retail locations are out of stock and everything I’ve checked online is as well. I need a box of these, ASAP. Cheers.

Same here. Though I'm celebrating with a slightly cheaper beer :stuck_out_tongue:. I liked the Aldersbacher but I thought it was too light bodied and dry for the price. I'd rather get Mariestads Dunkel which I think is better, and more full bodied.

Hey BA's, another lovely day in WNC with temps around 70 but looking at a change in the weather later in the week to be true fall like.
Today's choice is New Holland's Dragon Milk White. Decent beer but comes across as a little artificial with the adjuncts.
    Cheers,
    Tom

I’m buying more and more of the cheap stuff, my snobbery has mellowed a bit! :grimacing:

These bretted foudre beers from Cloudwater remind me a lot of Anchorage, and that is high praise!

My fridge and freezer are on fritz. I think that means I'd better drink these IPAs quick before they "go bad." :grinning:

Good gosh I feel like I'm in the movie Brasil. Paper paper paper and no action. Just rcvd a letter from the passport agency telling me I didn't put my SS# on my application for a new PP. Took me 48 seconds to find a scan of the app that I sent with my SS# on it. So I sent that AGAIN to the shower in VA along with their fucktangular form. I haven't had a passport for 4 months now. I am 13th generation American.
    Thank goodness for BA!
Anyway, like before, this 2X IPA seems to improve with a gentle pour. More body and pulp to it. Real nice. Cheers!

That's what I always try to tell people. You have to drink them or they will go bad. Haha!

Glad to hear it :stuck_out_tongue:. I would encourage anyone living here to take the chance and experience the contemporary brewing standard of the Swedish macros. Compared with American light and regular beer, Norwegian pilsner, Finnish mellanöl and Danish pilsner I think we have the best "beer standard" with our basic Export beer style and the extra strong versions around 6% abv. A beer drinker wanting malt flavor, hop bitternes and hop flavor and a moderate body should be able to find a beer or two that they enjoy at a fair price, which they can share with their friends and family.

It's quite true. I notice a fairly hefty taste change in many more recent IPA offerings and some lagers within 2-3 weeks. More so than say "old school" ales and such. Maybe I just drink too damn slow?!! Cheers!!

As long as they avoid the abomination that is Arboga 10.3…

More Cloudwater! This is Confectioners Choice, an imperial stout with… well, here’s the official rundown:

A fine blend of young beer, which spent two months in a first-fill Port barrel, and mature beer, aged 20 months in a cherry wine barrel.
This edition received additions of cacao, cinnamon, tonka and ancho chilli.

This time of year a lot of my (fresh) beer resides on the porch in a big cooler.
The UPS guy knows it fall when the yellow cooler is on the porch.

    Cheers

Today got bizarrely warm here. It was just in the low 40s yesterday morning, and today it hit 70. That's not a bad idea though.

I've actually not had the 10.2% Arboga. I've had the 7.3% version and the 5.6% Original which I think are fine for their respective style, the Original was even surprisingly hoppy the last time I had it. I was going to buy a can of the 10.2% for the malt liquor tasting but they had stopped selling it at my local store not that long ago, I was sure it was on the shelf. It was probably for the best :stuck_out_tongue:. But yeah, the 7%+ extra strong (light lager) beers are in a class of their own, it's probably best not to drink them, ever.

Enjoying our time in Phoenix with the kids and grandkids. Sunny and 86 degrees right now, and the pool feels great.
    Drinking this now.
