Another night of BIF #14 drinking (mostly). I had an Enjoy By with co-workers via Zoom, which was lackluster. I just bought that at the local Total Wine.

Then I had Enjoy the Snake, a NE IPA from District.96 in New York, from @MacMalt. This was pretty good.


Now I'm having The Last Girl Scout, from Martin House in Fort Worth Texas. Not sure why this got sent to me from Massachusetts, but I'm not complaining! Thanks @WunderLlama!

 

HB and Leine's Collaboration Lager. I might pick up more of this one. Watching more of the Stones from PIttsburgh than MLB tonight at the VB. Cheers!

Tonight’s beer is a 2013 bottle of Rochefort 8 with a BB date of July 2018. I think the flavors are “softer” than I recall when fresher. I’m getting notes of chocolate that are new to me. Overall, I’m not sure this is getting any better. I think I really enjoy this at the 2-3 year mark. There are at least another dozen of these in the cellar, so they are going to the top of the priority list.

Mick just told the audience that the first time the Stones played in Pittsburgh was 1964. Asked if anyone in the audience were any that crawled under the fence to get in.

 

Astros got off to a hot start tonight, props to them. Next few games are in the A, so we will see how the series goes with some home field advantage.

You recorded a great mix on that. If I play it through my PA I get some serious bottom- I think Kevin had the 5 string and I can hear my bass drum pedal. Plus the toms were miked perfectly- ping pong between channels.
That was great Larry. I dragged just a bit towards the end but recovered. Honestly it was fun and challenging to keep that groove. Loved it. Cheers.

That's a really cool song!! I had to laugh because evidently you have to be a bald dude to be in her band ... then I saw the drummer who looked like he just returned from Biker Week in Sturgis and the trifecta was equalized.

 

Oh yeah definitely was a good opening game win. Going to be a competitive series!

Been chatting with @PatrickCT tonight. Drinking from a brewery he sent to me in the past and playing some music in his honor. Even if his commitment to Sparkle Nation is questionable.
