Tonight I am drinking styles I don't drink much at my local brewery here in The Smoky Mountains of North Carolina in Andrews NC
Beer Number One Hoppy Trout Brewing Company One Eyed Wilma, an American Wheat that I found to be quite refreshing after a long week.
Beer Number Two is a Hoppy Trout Brewing Company Kilty Pleasures a Scottish Ale that is nice and malty, a little smoky, grassy and creamy smooth.

Great Caesar’s ghost is this Sip of Sunshine good. At a little less than a month old, drinking smooth, soft and bitter. What a treat. Thanks again to @DavetotheB for delivering the goods.

Can't sleep so I'm drinking this beauty while watching MLB. Not a huge Baseball fan and sometimes Idk what's going on.

Victory Storm King Imperial Stout - I was happy to see this being released for the shelves again. Pours a nice black color but when held to the light you can see a little red in there; nice thick creamy head. The nose takes me back with a lot of the old-school C hops going on but the malts are there as well. The taste is wonderful, hoppy for sure but the malts play a nice supporting role and this reminds me of black coffee. As it warms it mellows out quite a bit and I love these beers that change character with the temperature. This is a fantastic slow sipper on this cool and rainy night.

You could market this one as an Imperial Black IPA and it would pass. I remember back in the day this Stout was polarizing, as some people found it to be too hoppy for the style (but it did seem to age quite well because of this...I should try that again sometime). Prost!

 

Really digging this one. Citra, Nelson and Motueka. Getting ready for the Rockshow.

 

I can only make these 16 at a time due to the short shelf life. Once the pastry is placed on top and brushed in butter they dont last too long.....which means I have to make them alot. I would love to try your French ( Canadian?) meat pies though.

 

Finally cracking a Bur Oak Stout Heart from Columbia, MO. It’s got some chocolate and perhaps mint and black licorice.

 

Was rooting through the beer fridge wondering, "What next?" Was about to grab a Hamms when I saw this lonely guy (that came via @Blogjackets ) with a "Drink Me" sign on his back. Fat Heads Hop Stalker. What an awesome beer-Thanks! Cheers!
