My dad drank Schlitz years ago and I found it in the walk in cooler at a grocery store liquor department, stuffed in the back corner, so I had to get it. There's a small batch brewery here called Radicle Effect Brewerks that always has Schlitz on tap.

 

Herrnbrau Zwickl from the Costco Advent Calendar. Really good.

 

Bearded Iris ‘Ever Clever’ DDH DIPA. Picked up a 4 pack of Bearded Iris brews on the way through Nashville to OH. Really solid beers! Especially the wet hopped one that they have out now (Fresher Than Fresh, or something like that, I forget the name).

Let me know if anyone else has read the book that’s in the corner of the pic.

 

Well, I tried to have a Tipping Point from the Foley Brothers. This photo makes it look better than real life. Lots of floaties. Life is too short for this type of crap in my beer. I did not finish this one. I work too hard for my dollars to end up with disappointing beer. It’s one thing if the beer is well done and doesn’t fit my favorite flavor profile. This just seems like a mess.



Pivoted. Now having a Crom’s Beard. Better execution. Not my favorite. But not because I was straining crap with my teeth.

 

Mike, have another Triple Crossing DIPA. Good idea. This one is Falcon Heavy.

You all know that there are good folks in the world. Well, one lives in my neighborhood. He is collecting all the left over Halloween candy so he can send it to our troops. My guess is that most troops would prefer pizza, burgers, and fries but would have no problem with a few sweet treats. A good guy. Bless him.

That album still is in my rotation to this day. From Seattle and they released this album right before the grunge hit. Should be in every metalheads collection!
I don't think there's a bad track on that whole album.

 

I go to a lot of stores and beer shops (and breweries after all this is Richmond) and have not found it. To be honest though, I havre not looked for it. I am going to pay more attention to what beers I can get. Schlitz is one. Ballantine, Schafer, Rheingold, Schmidt’s to name a few I would buy if I found them.

 

Aroma is fading out on this one. But bitterness is still hanging around a bit.

 

Amen brother. Keep doing the right thing.
