What beer are you drinking now? #3344

Just grabbed a ticking beer from the store, and this The Big Easy IPA by 54-40 Brewing was canned 2/18/21. Ten months ago. I hope they have a harsh word with their distributor in my area. The was probably nice when fresh, but now has that dank, musty, dirt basement aspect of old hops.

 

Happy Thursday, WBAYDN! The weekend draws near. Always a good time for a beer.

Good afternoon BA's. Another lovely day in Western NC with sunny skies and temps in the lower 60's.

Today's choice is an NEIPA from Burial, a very good brewery located in Asheville. Catching an orange, gooseberry, and pine vibe in the flavor profile and finishes with a nice rind and pine hop bite.



Da Boss is listening to the Garth Brooks station on Sirius XM and currently playing is a Bob Dylan penned tune called Make You Feel My Love sung by Garth. Pretty tune, not my normal cup of tea but Da Boss expressed interest in tracking down sheet music to be able to play it on the keyboard which would be pretty cool!

Hellooooo Advocates! Super great to be here. Thanks @Shanex for gettin' Snappy opening todays thread. My 12 stitches have been removed and got a clean bill of health/green light. Oh hells yeah! Time for a double Hofbrau Dunkel. I can get back to my running routine and daily drumming activities and I'm very happy!! Also wanna make all kinds of easy as chocolate pie poo poo jokes about the Hershey's legal team vs a tiny brewer thread...should I? Well, I'll just say that I'm asking Santa Claus this xmas to give each member of the Hershey's legal team 1 free year of random weekly Andy Gump splash backs. Cheers!! Keep on smiling!

I too really dig that beer. On a side note, I wanna find 6pks or better yet 12 pks of their Guayabera Citra Pale Ale. I only find it in mixed 12pks. It's in my top 5 citra ales. Cheers!
