What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3346

After two (what seemed like 60 degree spring days) beautiful days here in CT we are met with a full day of rain on the last Saturday before the Holiday's. 20 degrees this coming Monday.

Very drinkable/sessionable beer, tastes slightly hoppy too. Malty sweetness and a crispy boy for sure.

Thanks @SawDog505 for lighting the flame this morning and making us all reflect on another year gone by. Sounds like you & the fam went through some fairly big changes but cheers to the new chapter!

 

The post lunch beer is Crisp & Chill, a nelson hopped beer from 3 Sons Brewing.

Very Hazy- Treehouse Brewing

 

Opening with a Heady before deciding what to eat for lunch. Gloomy and wet day here. Just how I like it when I plan to stay in. The question is what will I be drinking later on and quite frankly I am spoiled for choice following my two recent trips to Vermont.

 

Happy Saturday! Between work and being a bit under the weather this week I’m a few days behind on the advent calendar.

this ones just not doing it for me, maybe I got a bad can. Tastes like apple juice, water, and malts

Bell's Christmas Ale


This is an ok simple take on the style. Hoping to pick up Oberon as the final score to remember Bell's by before they make the jump next year.

1979 was featured this morning, leaving you with two Elvis Costello penned tunes from the show, and wishing you an excellent Beer Saturday!!

 

This beer is in my top 5. Watching Arthur Christmas with my daughter. Was checking out the Metallica 40th anniversary show earlier. Impressive set up to and including "Shortest Straw," then I lost interest a bit.

A very nice Scottsdale craft brewery / restaurant, Fate Brewing. Their Altbier:

Clean beer with a dry finish.

... with a his and her's pour. By tonight these empty nesters will have a full house with the arrival of Thing 1 & Thing 2 coming home from college for the break.

NBW cross-post. 10.4% ABV. It is snowing very lightly. I sampled a couple *********s that flew into my mouth while getting the mail. The *********s had flavor notes of vanilla, nutmeg, allspice, and cumulonimbus cloud, with a very creamy mouthfeel. The *********s pair well with this beer, which is very citrusy and champagne-like.

 

That last one became plant food mostly

some Edmund Fitzgerald while the others cool cheers!

 

At Brothership Brewing enjoying a flight before I grab some cans for Christmas gifts. Been a while since I’ve one of their beers. From left to right: Aerial Phenomena west coast IPA, Elaborate Hoax DIPA, Space Debris: Neapolitan Imp Stout, Hazy Dream State DIPA. They’re all very good as expected but the standout is Elaborate Hoax.
