The big new beer is a hazelnut KBS for March

“The perfectly balanced and decadent drinking experience of KBS meets the classic taste of hazelnut. Taking this bourbon barrel-aged stout to a new level, KBS Hazelnut allows the existing premium coffee and chocolate notes to soar to new heights when accented by the nutty sweetness of hazelnut. 12.0% ABV.

Releasing in our taprooms in March (and shortly thereafter nationally), KBS Hazelnut will be available in 4-packs of 12oz bottles and on draft as our first Barrel-Aged Series release of 2022.

This is our fourth KBS variant after Espresso, Maple Mackinac Fudge and Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa – and we truly believe it’s our best one yet!”

IMHO, Founders Barrel releases in 2021 were their weakest lineup. I don’t feel like 2022 is off to a good start.

Reds rye is year round again. Interesting. Never knew all day had variations. WTF is all day vacay?

Any news on Founders doing the right thing? After the law suit I have not had their beers but will go back when there is evidence they are being better employers.

    Enjoy

Im no HUGE Founders fan but You're tripping . Their Porter, KBS, Underground Brown or whatever shine enough to attract every damn crow in sight.
That being said i also haven't gotten shit from Founders in a while but i did get a CBS and Mothership Series BA Imperial Stout sent to me by 2 awesome people on here. The CBS was great and I haven't had the Mothership Series yet but can't wait

I miss FIS and applaud FBS being a perennial, but just keep Dirty Bastard in 6 packs year round and i'll be a happy customer. That beer is an American treasure.

I have zero interest in artificial hazelnut flavor. Hard pass for me! Use real hazelnuts, not artificially flavored coffee. Not surprised, just disappointed. Even Prairie uses artificial flavors/ingredients from time-to-time now. Except, they still charge $10-15 for a single 12 oz bottle.

I think it was a brewery only release this year. I came here to see if it was on the schedule. I would kill a couple of 15 packs a year. Great beer.
