    This was my New Year's "pearl", open at midnight at the beautiful Tenuta delle Rocchette (Calvi dell'Umbria) from where I just got back, while as usual everyone was uncorking Spumante wine


    The Lost Abbey (California, USA) - AD IDEM (blend of Blonde Ale fermented with brettanomyces + Blonde Ale fermented with peaches in wine barrels + Wild Ale aged in French oak barrels) 6.2%

    Happy New Year! We rang in the new year with sparkler fountains in our driveway … then slept in this morning. A new beer for the new year - KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa:

    Bottled 8/26/21. Poured at 58°. Great looking beer with a cinnamon sticks nose. Taste follows with cocoa right behind. I’m on laundry duty this lazy resting day…it will hit the low 80s later this afternoon…glad to be back in SWFL. Cheers y’all
