    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Light apricot yellow body; hazy; decent head, thick, frothy, and semi-creamy, white in color. Nice, general fruity nose; a touch of yellow pitted fruit with a slight dose of citrus; pineapple. A very agreeable taste; oat-like malt base with some general tropical fruit qualities; mildly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel; rich and chewy; slight citrus acidity; somewhat dry overall.

    A nice, unpretentious hazy American India pale ale. Nothing distinctive about the beer, nothing wrong with it.

    A decent enough hazy / New England IPA. My look and smell scores were borderline 4.0s, but ultimately I went for the slightly lower factor - no "wow" factor. Balanced.

    ...at the risk of revealing more about my inner thinking of things (...well, just things, nothing more...nothing, you know, risque...), I can see Ben dressed solely in a coonskin cap, sitting on a gilded Louis XIV chair, with a rouged, powdered, and coiffed courtesan, similarly attired, whispering sweet nothings into his furry bonnet and gently wrestling with him as he pursued his sweet advances...giggling...I see giggling, tickling, and teasing in this picture...but I digress...

    ...or maybe a scene I saw in Kubrick's 'Barry Lyndon'...

    I’m drinking a new to me Industry Versus Inferiority from Bissell Bros

    It has a tropical fruit salad taste with a hint of spearmint on the back end. Pretty good, the Idaho 7 hops give it a bit of a funky aroma.

    I grilled a couple of bone in ribeye steaks tonight, hard to believe they were both about the same size. My wife said I cooked hers ( left one) perfectly
    I thought of this scene from The Departed today for some reason

    Your number 9 number 9 number 9 Beer was hilarious last night… didn’t see it till today… nice @Blogjackets assist with the WHITE album video. Btw the beer hoisting hand was Incredible Hulking by the end of Saturday.

    Just cracked a canned Sip of Sunshine dated 12/1/2021. Is one the wifes faves so got her a 4 pk for xmas. First reaction was this isn't as good as in the past and for once she actually agreed with me. Tastes great don't get me wrong just body is quite light from what i remember. Maybe we are just spoiled from a regular recent diet of tired hands.

    I have fond memories of Buffalo Springfield (at least ones I can still remember). Back in the day, my wife was an avid Poco fan. I think Richie Furay was in that band after B S.

    We took Jr. Z to dinner at our favorite dive in Gulfport…home and drinking pFriem’s Oude Kriek Barrel Aged Lambic-style ale (2020):

    Poured at 55°. Cherries nose. Tart cherries taste. Prickly carbonation. Dry finish from French Oak barrels. Tasty!
