I thought this beer was hot green hops a couple of months ago…now, it’s mellowed and I enjoy the tropical fruit juicy aspects. Cheers!

 

Good afternoon BA's, good to be back hanging out again! Warmed up nicely to the mid-50's today though a bit breezy.
Today's choice is one of the three BCBS variants available in Western NC & Upstate SC. This one has a lot going on with the rye barrel spiciness, and the cinnamon, sugar, and cocoa nibs adjuncts. All in all, an excellent desert beer!



Listening to Sirius XM's Red White & Booze channel which is a mix of country boozing songs and classic rock. Starting to appreciate country more, not only for the classics, but the humor as some of the songs played are totally hilarious!

Pretoria Fields in Albany, GA kinda revived American Brown Ale with this. Mostly Georgia ingredients, except the hops of course. Nutty, coffee & toffee notes and a little sweet. 5.4% ABV.
I can make a case for this being the official beer of Georgia. Cheers!

 

Congratulations Harley - i raise my glass with BCBS Brand Fourteen to you and your family! I hope Mama and the Little One are doing well! I totally get how 3 days in a hospital would wipe one out.
Great choice on the beer. A friend of mine just picked up B-Bomb, very much looking forward to having this!

He got banned for some reason or other. Hard to imagine he was a reasonable guy. They should probably lift the ban but it's not my call.

 

There’s always a chance. I just have to be quick about it.

Really though, fortunately my wife is able to stay home with our kids so she’s pretty generous allowing me some beer time at the end of a long work week. I (mostly) stay out of it during weeknights so on Friday and Saturday, I can usually have a couple without bothering anyone. Obviously I don’t let my hobby interfere with my parenting/spousal responsibilities. Cheers my friend, and thank you.
