Perhaps my favorite coffee stout!…I’ll miss the old label design, but look forward to this beer someday again in my breakfast mug…Cheers brother!

 

Happy Sunday - sorry to hear about our BA brethren with sleep issues - been there, done that....my advise - take some calcium before bed (or chew a Tums, which is mostly calcium carbonate)....it usually helps me....

Sipping on this while contemplating lunch to make for my mom



gf and her son, both have covid - so, that sucks and I am staying away from them for a week!

 

This is rock solid and loaded with Mosaic. Sleet, rain, and snow this family is hunkering down, plenty of food in the house and beer. Hoping for a Patriots win and not to have to fire up the generator.

It is so nice this morning that I put a second beer on the counter while I walked the dogs a second time around the the neighborhood (70° degrees/sunny/cool gusty breezes)…now picking up where I left off - KBS:



Bottled 9/9/21. Poured at 59°. Not a “coffee” stout, to me, per se…and not the bourbon powerhouse (12% vs. 14.8%) delivery like the Café Deth Coffee I just drank…nevertheless, so well made AND available year ‘round…I question why I keep chasing BBA coffee stouts from other breweries for double or more the cost per oz…Cheers gang!

 

I would put Revolution’s barrel aged program against anybody else’s from the Chicago area (yeah, even them). I’ve only had one that I ranked lower than the average on this site, and even that one wasn’t bad.

Happy Sunday BA's! Lots of NFL games today, we'll pull for Bucs and Patriots. Having a pour of KBS while prepping an omelet with hash/bacon/biscuit. It's currently 76 and headed to 82 so mowing the lawn after lunch is a given.

Agreed; nevertheless, GI base OG BA stouts are the “competition”, now are available, and I still love…and, while “thin” let’s not forget next door neighbor’s CW’s barrel aged offerings…I think I have something in the chiller from my summer Wisconsin RV trip…maybe later today? Cheers pal!

 

Our “spring” is here! You could probably hop in the pool today with a tasty beer - Cheers man, and welcome back!

 

This is exactly the type of day I don't miss here in New Mexico. Hope you don't need the generator.
