    Good day Advocates and thanks @Shanex for opening up todays thread. On this slippery day I'm throwing back this new-to-me drop: Sweetwater 420 Imperial IPA. Not too shabby and is slightly redolent of something from Lagunitas as it's fairly sugary yet it's soft, lightly creamy and not as rammed with hops. It smells like Claxton fruit cake. Far out man. It will not prevent me from feeling happy. Cheers! Keep on smiling!!

    This is a great beer. It consistently delivers at optimal levels. For me (yes, for me), this is a beer that I can always count on, which is saying something in today's ever-shifting market. Peace, and much love.

    This was one of the first songs I ever recorded a remix, too. I still have it laying around somewhere, and I could recite my verse at the drop of a dime. I'm dating myself. I was 14 when I recorded it. My friends loved it. The Hunter never made the big time, but I was a neighborhood celebrity for more than 15 minutes. Haha! Cheers!!!

    Pretty nice day in these parts today - I even grilled a burger, first time I've used the grill since around October. I brought the tank down afterwards and got it refilled since it was getting low. Working on dinner now and having this tasty SN Pale Ale

    As @Resistance88 stated earlier, it’s pretty damn hot today - crystal blue skies and 84 degrees. Also, I would like to reply to Resist about Creature Comforts coming to LA. Now, I can’t think of an out of state brewery that has had their stuff thrive here (IPA’s at least). Still, if I can get Tropicalia everyday, I will. It’s a top ten IPA. The only other world class IPA I can think of that got distributed here is Jai Alai. But at that point, it was average because of contract brewing.

    Any of my New York people have an opinion on Duchess? I really try and not buy out of state stuff because it’s usually older and more expensive than local. Still, I enjoyed a no nonsense, bone dry Stout by them, and also an ESB. And right here in Walser, it’s a pretty good (albeit nothing grand) Lager. Cheers:

    Nectaron Express, a NEIPA by New Zealand brewer 8 Wired (7.2%).

    This makes for a great New England/Zealand IPA with those typical lime and white grape notes from the Motueka and Nelson Sauvin hops, as well as tropical, dank and slightly resinous accents as well.
