I hate those Sweet Gum trees. That stupid fruit they drop will destroy a lawn mower blade. What side of town do you reside? I'm in Forsyth County.

In 2007 I flew to DC because my dad was out there on business. Before I showed up he texted me that he got a 6 pack of Stone IPA. I was stoked. That’s my first memory of having one (even though I had had some before).

 

Time to call it a day...

Bennington, an oatmeal stout with maple syrup and Dutch-processed cocoa...

This is great - "Dutch-processed cocoa" adds a flavor like chocolate Ovaltine to the mix, and the maple syrup is light enough to blend in, but present enough to be appreciated... Rich and rewarding, sweeter up front than on the finish - not overly sweet or syrupy despite a solid body and full-flavored profile... Really diggin' it... 7.3% abv, 11/16/21 canning...

I have these for my pils usage. I dig them except the walls are just too thick.

I'd rather get some lighter walled pils style glasses like the images below, but the ones I use are still pretty good, particularly the slight taper to enhance aroma.

I will probably get something like these, once I break a few of the Libbey pils glasses which at some point is always... a given... but right now the last thing I need is more glassware!

Leaning towards the first type vs. the second but I like em both.
