Good afternoon BA's, i am enjoying the last of my Costco Advent pack. Going to miss the occasionally pallet cleansing German lagers.
Da Boss is working away trying to clear out last minute work before we fly out to PHX tomorrow. She is listening to her "girlie" music and there is an album that Norah Jones (daughter of Ravi Shankar, a famous sitarist from yesteryear) put out twenty years ago. Very pretty voice for sure.

Done with work for the day and getting ready to toss some wings into the oven. Some nuisance snow falling right now - supposed to get 2-3 inches before it blows out of here. Tomorrow it's all supposed to melt. Having a Powder Day IPA at the moment.

Biscuit & big malt notes, toffee and dark fruit on the finish.

 

Yep. And now it's snowing, too, to add insult to sobriety.
Got my last 5 miler in this morning - that's it - hay's in the barn. Now to wait out my leg jitters.

Been watching "The Tourist" on HBOMax in the evenings... and this actor (in the music video below) kills it.

Onto round 2 and have dived into the 2021 Sierra Nevada Alpha Hop Society Release #5. First taste was, whoa, this needs to be served over pancakes! But after recalibrating the pallet after a few sips, this "blonde" ale is really tasty. Nice and warming after a rainy morning and to deal with lower 50 temps today. Rated it a 4.06 initially, today it is pushing a 4.25. Will have to do a re-review with a clean pallet!
Still listening to Da Boss girlie music. Would possibly assess this song may have been a little edgy for Nashville back in 2015 but i am so old and out of touch maybe not, who knows!
