    Heard from a couple of reliable source now on GC's taking over the Harry's Grill spot in sunset Beach. I doubt they'll brew there. More likely a restaurant with GC's Costa Mesa location bringing the kegs over. Which is cool with me. I'm sure they'll have a cooler with cans to go. I'm hoping this will happen this year. But things do change over time.
    As far as Beachwoods Brewing in HB? I'm sure they'll keep it open as a production facility. Maybe close down the tasting room to make room for more brewing? That's just a guess on me. I doubt if the business next door will ever close down.

    Wish they'd come to LA. Seems like only the hipster places come here
    Modern Times Dojo with the disappointing vegan foood ,HPB with the extremist covid protocol and Homage with the incessant loud hipster music. Would trade them all for Beachwood

    To be honest I'd rather have Beachwood Seal Beach back and just have pizza served there. That place was something special

    ...but yeah we need more breweries popping up in LA, but I'm sure it's significantly more...bureaucratically hellish

    I’m with you on hanging at Blendery. Love the laidback vibe there. Love the variety at the brewpub though.

    Just want to throw my love in for the Blendery. Probably the best spontaneous stuff I've had from the US. And I appreciate their overall vibe a lot. So much of the mixed fermentation/wild/spontaneous beer culture in the US is tied up in fart sniffing hipsterism that it's been refreshing to find a place that really just loves this aspect of the beer world and wants to pursue it without selling you some old world charm fairy tale meant to make you feel better about paying $60 for a bottle of overly acetic beer trying to hide under rare pluot juice. Just wish work still took me down to the area regularly (ok, really I just wish that I was rich enough to fly down and fuck around at breweries and beaches for a couple days every few months)

    I've heard mumblings that they still control the overall lease since tap system is still in place, maybe once COVID is all over with maybe it'll come back...

    Fart sniffing hipsterism:joy::joy:

    Yea, homage is like that. Buncha felt hat , cave aged cheese afficionados wearing boots for no reason.
    I'm gonna visit this place cuz wife loves that style of beer and Cellador is our go to. Went to homage once and have yet to return.

    If anyone's interested, I ordered the mixed case of WCIPAs (Citraholic, Amalgamator, Hoptangle) and it arrived today. All cans are fresh.

    Saw the GC business license in the old Harry's window today. Lots of work still needs to be done but the building has alot of potential.

    With the mask mandate being over, I wonder what is the likelihood of the Blendery reopening sometime soon? I miss hanging out over there. Also, their new collab with Almanac looks like it's going to be a good one

    Beachwood’s year round cans would be CitraHolic, Amalgamator, Hayabusa, 28 Haze Later (hazy) and LBC. A decent list. I would like to see Melrose and/or Thrillseeker added to this lineup. Their Core 4. Too many IPA’s? Eliminate LBC. No dipa’s. They havent brewed many dipa’s. Greenshift would be my choice. Hops Of Fury is a tipa and coming in at 11% is too big. Do they need a year round stout/porter?

    I think they've pretty much decided Mocha Machine is their year round stout/porter. The darker beers, I think, don't sell as well as a year-round beer. Personally, I'd rather have Onyx or Kilgore as a year round stout
