You'll see me later today with the second half of this bomber. Have a few places I want to hit this afternoon, and can't solo this in one setting.

Full review in the Cellar Review thread. WBAYDN treatment, cellaring has neither improved or hurt this, IMO. It's a solid non BA imperial stout, but too sweet for me, would prefer an old school one like Old Rasputin.

First had this one a couple years ago and never rated it since it was clearly past its prime and near drain-pour. Not letting that happen today, last one in the fridge dated 2022-02-01 and already showing signs of deterioration. Not bad, just not as good as it was a month ago.





Pretty much my only view yesterday, from the tree-covered summit of Owl's Head.

Looking at the "back" side of the Franconia Ridge where I was last week.

47 peaks down, 1 remains, 5 days left...

.....everytime I see these Great Lakes IPA's, I buy them, and they keep getting better, who'da thunk it.....I think this my favorite with Lake Erie Monster and Nosferatu a close 2nd......

Actually it's a chilled glass, that's condensation. Don't be an ass

 

I'm not being an ass. And I'm talking about the Guinness glass. See all those inoculation points/streaks? That's a dirty glass! It's okay, if it's your glass and you're drinking at home. But it's just plain gross and unacceptable, to have that at a public place that serves food and drinks. Especially nowadays!
