    Except for the NEIPAs it looks like when you go into a bottle shop you suffer from severe disconnect somewhere between your eyes and your brain! :wink:

    Dunkel
    Pilsner
    APA
    IPA - American / West Coast

    At least they've got me with Wild Ales too lol. But yeah, my reviews don't reflect my ideal bottle shop selection. Part of the curse of living close to Tree House I suppose :wink:

    1. Saison/Farmhouse (basic, not soured, aged, fruited, overpriced)
    2. Munich Dunkel
    3. Helles/Kolsch/Vienna Lager
    4. Dopplebock (dark versions)
    5. Rauchbier (German smoked beers, not cherrywood porters or peaty stuff)

    For the most part, these are my "gotta haves" if I find them on tap. The issue is that there are too many brewers getting these wrong. So I would add the caveat that these are my top 5 if brewed correctly, if not, there better be a solid WCIPA or I'm leaving.
