Offshore islander. Great dipa. Red grapefruit, orange, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, apricot, berry, citrus peel/rind, wood, pepper, pine, caramel, toast, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass. Good size pine/rind bitter. Creamy/bready med full body. Drying sticky resins. No astringency. Light warmth of 8%. Feels like centennial and Citra hops. Great west coast style. 4

You can count on I will torment my WBAYDN friends with seafood pics from NC. I wonder how many seafood critters I will consume. Definitely oysters and more likely clams, shrimp, and crabs. Need some fish though. And not flounder but good stuff. I leave you in suspense.

Another direction and should be a great dessert beer to a great meal.
Prairie Pirate Weekend Stout aged in Rum Barrels with Cacao Nibs, Coconut and Marshmallow.
Pours a motor oil black with virtually no head.
Aroma is dark chocolate fudge, Coconut and a hint of rum barrel.
Taste follows with dense, dark German chocolate cake, some hints of coffee but the rum barrel presents it self alot more in the taste - a bit of a dark blackstrap rum/molasses like richness. Sweet it is from the marshmallow but it does finish with a little coffee bean like acidic bitterness. Theres a hint of vanilla in there as well.
Of course at 14% theres some booziness in there but its drinking very easily.
Thick and heavy bodied, syrupy, sugar smacking on the lips. Low carb.
Well it certainly fits dessert for me. The rum is decent in this especially as it warms. Its 10 bucks and change a bottle. I enjoyed it. Im not huge on big sweet stouts but I do like to occasionally visit. Certainly would give it a go again especially since Im a rum lover.
One thing I always wonder about marshmallow adjuncts (which seems to be popular currently even in some other styles) is what that actually means. Why? Because marsmallows (these days) are basically sugar, gelatin and vanilla or artificial flavoring. So we are adding sugar and flavors to the brewing process....not sure if thats something I would run with often. Anyhow,

My finished dish tonight of Flame Peppers filled with my Adobo Bison and Black Beans sprinkled with Queso Fresco and served atop Lime Crema, alongside fresh Guac and Pico di Gallo with Maui Onion. Garnished with Micro Cilantro.

And, I want to eat and drink to get into great shape like you. I’m not allowed to get stoned, but I have a CBD candle for bath,bed , n beyond. Hey, I’m a lost cause. Your enthusiasm and good cheer always makes me smile!

 

Just curious. In Virginia getting stoned legally is impossible. Might get you jailed for life.

I think if I could get legal weed that I would drink a whole lot less (my liver begs for relief) and also have some good MS days in which the MS spasticity is more tolerable (weed suppose to help).

I am going to NC on Tuesday and was just wondering what I could get legally.
