A new brewery to me . Timber Ales Star Searching
Timber Ales is originally from New York New York but this is made in my state like a lot of breweries have decided to do like Abomination, Fat Orange Cat, Evil Twin, Other Half etc. 12 percent is running the show in North Haven.

 

Went to the Field Museum today for the first time in a year.

Now having a beer that I’m also cooking some brats, garlic, and onions with for a casserole tomorrow night.

I'm up and Committed. My waitress promised me this tasted the same as the tap. Can't make out the date. That pretty tastes like it. Heavy on the Mosaic and maybe some more bitterness. My wife will order this too. They started canning some of BJ's beers. Brewed in Temple, Texas. An 8.6% ABV DIPA.

This beer is a good sipper. New beer to me.

This beer is not much to look at. Ugly looker. Not much of head even with a aggressive pour.
Smell is ok for the style.
Taste is good. Bourbon, coconut, chocolate, hint of roasted malt, vanilla and graham cracker. But towards the finish it has a nice butterscotch flavor that I like. Somewhat sweet over all. Almost a 4.25/5 for taste. Fairly smooth beer with a ok mouth feel

Blame my wife for that. At 19 it was clean your shit up or I’m gone. That was 2011 and we still here 2022 so props to her for lighting a fire under my ass lol.

 

Hamms and some random spicy Korean popcorn my wife bought me!

Weirdly sweet then really spicy. Not shabby! Pairs well with the Hamms !!
