    I scored them this way: Alpine Nelson 4.8. Karl Strauss Big Barrel 4.4. No Nelson but like you say, damn good.

    For tonight. A random grab at my beer store. "Oh this is new" *inserts into basket* That often gets me into trouble, but not this time. 21st Amendment Marooned on Hog Island. Damn tasty beer. I don't think I have had many oyster stouts, but if most are like this I will be seeking out more.

    Tired and a little achy after a 13.5 mile run in the woods this afternoon, so I'm gonna enjoy this bottle of Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout, most likely. Review to follow.

    Decided on no occasion in particular to open a Tilquin Gueuze. The nice thing about this beer is that I bought it right in my hometown from my local beer store and did not have to travel an hour away. Traditional Lambics of pretty much any brand you could name were not available in CT until quite recently.

    Some awful Instagram pics (@valleyofthesuds... :wink: ) taken with my awful phone of what is a pretty decent beer. Good, not great. Wish it was more viscous and a little more sweet. Considering what they were going for, I would've thought it would be.

    Love the Oat... but I have an almost two year old Choklat that I think I'm gonna dig on right about... ... ... NOW! I may even swirl and dump some Makers Mark in my glass on the 2nd glass. Damn I wish they would BBA some of their Blackwater series!!!
