Finishing up with another 21st beer I've never had. Meh, not bad, but nothing special.

I had a pretty good day today. Passed all my classes with As and Bs. And I apparently won a prize. A weeklong trip to Orlando/Daytona. And 2 more 3-day trips to a place of my choosing. I can guarantee I will plan at least one trip around beer.
    Celebrating with this:

Absolutely. Ran by a 30ft-deep sinkhole out in the woods, do you have any idea how hard it'd be to find me there?

This beer is awesome! One of the beers by DFH that is best built for aging. Cheers!!

So, Mint Chocolate was pretty, pretty, pretty good, man. Wasn't excellent, but definitely tasty and I'm glad I picked it up. My girlfriend's got a bottle of it too, think she's going to enjoy it just as much (she'll also appreciate its dryness).

Just got back from a 22 mile run in the Amazon jungle this evening. Pretty tired and malaria-ridden, but going to drink a '11 Pliny later to celebrate.

This thread is kinda making me wish I didn't pass on that four pack of Olde School the other day. Still have a bottle from the 2011 release, though.

And I quite liked the Mint Chocolate Imperial Stout.

A blend of New Morning and 18 month aged 3 Fonteinen Lambic refined for at least 12 months in bottle. It has a surprisingly citrus nose of leather, cellar and animal with hints of dried flowers and honey. Lasting and sapid in the mouth with a sour finish that always makes the lovers of this blend smile.
