    Happy Saturday BA's! Off today so I watched Elisa Longo Borghini storm to a solo victory in the Paris-Roubaix Femmes, an epic spring cycling event in France. The men's race is tomorrow, live on Peacock TV. It's a beautiful, sunny 72 degree morning so I went for a quick 15 mile road ride too. Two Hearted while the wife reheats baked spaghetti for lunch.

    Some irony in this race, and Audioslave's "The Curse" song... I think of watching George Hincapie battle for the Hell of the North every year for like 10 years. Finally in 2006 he was in contention for the final kilometers, and one of the wackiest equipment failures made it seem like he was cursed to never win the race he wanted the most. The whole stem assembly failed after hours of abuse from the cobbles and his handlebars turned into a wet noodle.

    I've been curious about this popular and highly rated beer, and I'm glad my curiosity has been satisfied. It certainly earns its reputation for greatness. It exudes eye appeal, an alluring nose; balanced flavors with fine depth, and gently caresses the palate with a soft, warm dryness. A must-try beer.

    Having brunch at the very local KinderHill Brew Labs in Bryan, TX. Enjoyed a coffee sour brown ale with a biscuit with honey butter earlier. Now a guest tap Cigar City Fancy Papers NEIPA with a wonderful duck egg pita sandwich! Cheers all!

    NBW cross-post. I think @Danmullens1 likes this beer more than I do. It tastes like a rum and cola cocktail, but not a delicious one. I have been listening to this song very often this week.

    Lunch is in the books and so is my last Hopslam from this years batch. Two days past its 90 shelf life but was great! Looks like sunny, dry conditions for tomorrows men's Paris Roubaix cycling race. Coverage of the race begins at 0520 on Peacock and I think I'm taking off work to watch it.
