You have to watch dates with Utepils. A lot of old product on the shelves particularly outside the metro in northern MN.

This is as true now for the local breweries as it ever was for the imports*.

I had to pass on some Utepils today for just this reason.

(*It’s sorta funny, but the more times change, the more things stay the same.)

And it ain't just Northern MN or (as a lot of people seem to note all over these forums) just at Total Wine - whatever that is.

(I thought Total was a breakfast cereal - seems to me if you made an alcoholic beverage from that, it'd be a "beer" not a "wine").

Blackstack released a keller pils, 4 My Dawgs.

Fugazi is damn good IMO, so I have high hopes for this one.

It's been awhile since this topic has been discussed. Are there any new must have canned MN Pils readily available, No Frills, Fair State, etc? I'll be passing through next week & would like to grab a couple selections.

On a side note, can anyone provide the best location to pick up the last 3 beers brewed at the HammerHeart Lino Lakes location, Snösmältning, Stone Circle, Thor's Fury Returns?

    Thanks in advance.

No Frills is solid, I enjoyed it. Twins Pils from Summit may or may not be the same as Keller Pils, it's tasty. Venn Pils (Venn Brewery) is a favorite of mine, it available at the brewery in crowlers.
The Hammerheart beers are showing up on the website for France 44. By that measure it's a solid bet that they would also be available at South Lyndale Liquors.

Super clear from Fair state out now. Going back to OP, that might be the closest thing you’ll get to a Bietstadt slow pour pils.

Along this line, Side Pull (Fair State/Bierstadt collab) will be coming back this year.

Not sure, but I’d bet they’ll be canning it again.

I just asked at the source. The guy I spoke to was not 100% certain, but it sounds like Side Pull will be canned because it sold very well in distro last year. Also of note - Fair State will have "like 10" lagers on tap during the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) the first week of May.

I somehow missed Side Pull last summer but will definitely pick it up if Fair State cans it again.

Fair State continues to do great things for those drinkers that don't need IPA after another IPA.
