It sounds like you could get medical marijuana legally in Virginia. Where the heck you'd get it is the question. You would probably have no problem getting a medical marijuana permit.

Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:

1) Bent Paddle’s Classic Cream (5.0%): A cream ale from Minnesota that has smooth flavors of cream and honey.
versus
2) Great Lakes’ Dortmunder Gold (5.8%): A European Export beer from Ohio that has strong bread malts, earthy honey, and light honeyflower flavors.

3) Bent Paddle’s ESB (5.6%): An English Strong Bitter from Minnesota with flavors of caramel and toasted bread malts.
versus
4) Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale (5.6%): The original west-coast pale ale from California that has flavors of orange pine soap and resin.
versus
5) Sierra Nevada’s Celebration Ale (6.8%): A holiday IPA from California that has flavors of red grapefruit citrus with spicy pine and caramel malts.

Winners:

2) Great Lakes' Dortmunder Gold: As usual this one was fantastic. Milder aromas and flavors, but has the subtle honeyflower flavor and a cleaner finish. Classic has come to be a good cream ale though.

3) Bent Paddle ESB: For the lower ABV, I found just as good malt flavors here. Sure, Celebration might be too old, but it has never especially wowed me. I don't think it has any better malt flavors than the ESB, just more spiced pine bitterness. The ESB has grown on me and enjoy drinking the underrepresented style.

 

Dude, this is a different world here. Some of it good. Some of it not good.
