My son gave me a bunch of Trillium beers, damn I raised him well.


@LarryV here is a better shot of the neighbor’s house. It doesn’t show the contents in the back yard of the cellar from when the cryptic system backed up. I count a washer/ dryer, couch, love seat, 3 ac’s, and a bunch of boxes. There are 3 dead grills and 2 sets of patio furniture in a heap. They just had a dead car towed.

The guy nailed all the windows shut this winter to keep them tight and only that side door showing opens out of the 3 doors in the house. We have given them stuff over the years, they are decent people, just shouldn’t be homeowners.

One of my favorite Blue Note albums (which is saying something). Jimmy Smith, Midnight Special. With killer players like Stanley Turrentine and Kenny Burrell.

Sipping on a wonderful La Chouffe.

Ommegang Neon Neon Rainbows. A fairly pedestrian NEIPA. Did get a neat smoke effect from swirling the last of the pour to break up the yeast cookie at the bottom of the can. Cheers!

Divine barrel Court shoes only 2022. Omg this was amazing. Aromas and flavors of big nutty medium roast coffee, vanilla, milk/dark chocolate, dark bread/crust, toast, wood, pepper, herbal, grass; lt maple, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, char, yeast earth. Lt med hop/char coffee bitterness. Creamy silky bready full body. Some sticky chalky drying. No acrid/astringent. Mild increasing warmth and booze of 12%. This is super similar to Founders breakfast stout with more alcohol. Advertised maple is barely there, but otherwise top tier coffee stout. 4.35

Yup - some people just shouldn't be home owners! They slapped No Trespassing signs up all over our neighborhood eyesore the other day. Someone must have complained about me walking around taking pictures.

Do snacks not count as food? but we are going to a sushi place soon. You will survive for a bit longer

 

Next up to enjoy is an Equilibrium MC2.....it's fresh and delicious. We had some cheese/meat/crackers for supper....not photo worthy but filled the void.
