Greetings all, back in Arkansas & steeling myself for a grueling 3 day work week.

Some postmortem from last night's concert: Was a about 60 Jerry/40 AIC songs. The crowd was certainly thrilled about this. I was less pleased as I am really into the solo stuff & have see Alice 3 times with a chance to do it again this summer. It's a homecoming for Jerry, so who am I to set the playlist? Great show, the accompanying lead vocalist & guitarist were both great & allowed Jerry to shine. They had a keyboardist & a steel pedal guitar player as well.



They did great takes on the all Alice stuff, really dug this



My sinuses were shot from all of the pot smoke in the air. Probably the only show I could compare it to was a Tool show I went to, but that was ten times the people

I'd take the newer F-15 with AWACS support if I was trying to make it back in one piece...

You can't make it to Texas at MACH 1. About 25 miles short of Galveston from Cozumel. 600 miles at that speed. Out of gas. A dollar a pound I read. I crashed near a drilling platform "HELP"

Not related, but I saw this crash happen. I was on the flightline at the time and saw this plane come in for a landing and then take off again

As it was trying to gain altitude, it started to drop out of the sky and then crashed with a huge black plume. We saw them carrying the remnants of the plane back to the base for several days.

I will never forget that scene.

The BUFF is a mean machine - I know, I used to work on them! The fact that they're still in use speaks volumes.

 

I'd say that's true around Dallas and FtWorth. And so far Saporro is my favorite Asian brew.

 

Extending my chill out with Junkyard Pulpasaurus NEIPA. Pretty dang good, floral and orange heavy on a Wednesday night. Cheers!

I think Sapporo is a pretty solid brew. I almost bought some over the weekend I ended up with some Alchemist beers instead since I never see them around here.

 

Energy Management and no ailerons. Cool landing gear. Old as me. I remember being excited about the B58 Hustler and X15 in my youth.
