    Beet Box, a "Gose" from Estonian brewery Pühaste (5.2%).

    Even though I'm not really a huge fan of beetroot at all, I still found this rather enjoyable due to the beetroot not feeling overpowering and actually working quite well with the quince, despite this seeming like an odd combination to me at first.

    Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup:

    1) Bells LoSun Wheat Ale (4.0%):     A low calorie wheat ale from Michigan with flavors of lemon citrus, spice, pepper, and wheat.
    versus
    2) Summit Cabin Crusher with lemon (4.8%): A Kolsch from Minnesota with flavors of pale malts, yeast, and tart lemon citrus. Summery.

    3) Earth Rider Caribou Lake (7.4%): An IPA from Wisconsin with flavors of resinous orange, grapefruit, earthy berry and pine.
    versus
    4) Bells Two Hearted Ale (7.0%): A midwestern IPA from Michigan that has flavors of stonefruit, peach, and sweet caramel malts.
    (Both pairs correctly matched blind)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners: (Bells)

    1) Bells LoSun Wheat Ale: This one has a nice dry wheat and lemon flavor. For 4% ABV and 110 calories, it's outstanding and beats any macro American lager.

    4) Bells Two Hearted Ale: This one has an identifiable, what I call a "candied stonefruit". Whatever the flavor is, it makes this one a World Class American IPA.
    Bells continues to do what it does.

    Congrats on the end of the term! I still have a few weeks (quarter system). Tapers suck. I hate them. I'm convinced they don't work. I'm sure they do work. I still hate them.
