    I think it's really good, but probably not worthy of its lofty rating. Soft, drinkable, juicy, but it doesn't quite stand out.

    Fat Heads Wet-Hopped Head Hunter IPA (Simcoe, Centennial, Mosaic, Citra,
    Chinook). Just an amplified version on Head Hunter that shows off the hop complexity and bitterness nicely. @TheIPAHunter You already know. Legit. Excellent stuff.

    Dinner was pretty tasty - man, that hot sauce is HOT - 4 or 5 drops goes a long way. Andouille sausage seasoned with Cajun seasoning, sweet vidalia onions, jalapenos, red bell pepper, and rainbow carrots thinly sliced.

    Relatively short trial day today…back at hotel drinking local - J. Wakefield Brewing’s “Hops 4 Teacher” IPA:

    Canned 4/6/22. Two fingers of beige mixed bubbles; excellent cap retention; heavy ring; bands of soapy lace sheet the glass from top to bottom; pale amber liquid with excellent clarity. Oranges and bready malt nose. Taste is bitter orange rind followed by grapefruit and lemon; firm malt base; citrus finish. Medium light body; slightly sticky feel; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency; clean finish. Overall the beer drinks like a West Coast style minus the pine and resin; pleasant bitter citrus linger; a great example of an American Southern style IPA. I would like to drink more of this type of IPA.
