    Yes, I remember that - I think there was a lot of personality issues in that band. Danny Kalb is still around - I have a couple of his solo albums. Not bad, but not great.

    He's 79 yrs old now. Here he is on his 71st birthday.It looks like Bernie Sanders on rhythm guitar :grin:



    The Blues Project was just an excellent band - Projections was my favorite album though.

    I love that opening groove ..

    New beer, new brewery courtesy of @Beersnake1 in Bif15, #11 ranked bock- eisbock on BA

    Brewers Notes: Our Eisbock, aptly named for our “Land of Fire & Ice” encapsulates the history of our region and the elements of the brewing process for this lager-style beer all distilled into a unique early winter seasonal Lager. Utilizing a variety of Munich-style malts, this beer tantalizes the pallet with prominent aromas and flavors like toasted caramel and toffee, sweet bread, and biscuit - but with each sip you will begin to notice the more nuanced characteristics of dark candied fruit, raisins, and even a light nutty quality, all balanced with a very light floral quality imparted from Saaz hops. A perfect libation for anytime you crave something with a little more oompfff, and as a bonus this is a great beer to age in the cellar - responsibly store some cans for annual comparison!

    A big honking can , 19.3 oz, poured into a Nordic ipa , frothy taupe one finger foam cap over a translucent copper liquid

    Aroma is raisins , toffee, toasted caramel

    Taste is raisins, toffee, toasted caramel, slight nuttiness , hint of prune

    Slightly sweet, 10% abv, feel the eis!!!


    Good beer, I like it
