Making sure the niece is on top of her homeschooling work…now back out for another brew.

    Aforementioned hazy version!
    9.6% ABV

And from a nice glass too! Never seen this Grande réserve around here sofar.
Like to see your drawings here by the way. Only did some drawing myself in art-class during high-school. Like to pick it up again some day too.

That new Rammstein tune needs no subtitles for anyone not speaking German I guess  Shallow phrases, but with a deep undertone. Awesome artists.

    Cheers!

For St Feuillein I just need to run errands to a different supermarket in a neighboring town which has it under different iterations. Happy to have found this one and would recommend to anyone.

I owned the glass for about forever, I believe it was a gift from a relative.

Rammstein have always been excellent at maybe provoking some (their videos can be very brutal, violent or just outright ****, if you watch their clip « ***** »), but that’s why I like them, also a great and consistent band for decades.

    Cheers!

I have the day off and all of my to-do's are done so relaxing with this excellent pilsener. Really tasty brew! That's one of my dad's old glasses so that makes it taste even better.

This beer is so good. I’m surprised it’s not rated higher. I guess it’s not “hazy” enough

Drove across town to get some bromeliads that Mrs. Z bought online…late lunch beer - “Cone Head” IPA by Zero Gravity, Burlington VT, all Citra hopped:

Pours pale gold with some clarity as it warms; two fingers of creamy white foam with some rocks; bands of sticky lacing, heavy ring, excellent cap retention. Orange and tangerine nose. Taste follows suit; light bitterness, firm malt base. Medium light body, moderate minus carbonation; no astringency. Overall very good; easy drinking and light; mild bitter citrus peel linger.

    4.75 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4
My prior rating was the same, except for appearance which I gave a 5.

Thanks to @Ocalafox for another tasty beer from VT - Cheers!

For 9%+ can’t complain at that cost!

She is doing great, healed up well, no infection.

Her sister, (the fat one ) is the troublesome one. Ear infections, allergies, you name it. Got her on monthly allergy shots $90 a pop.

I definitely buy that St Feuillein when I see it.

Love and hate relation with Rammstein myself. Remember hearing them over two decades ago in the German and Austrain Alpine regions; Du riechst so gut.
I like their (recent) spiffy clips and artwork. Lyrics still are all in German for as far as I know. I hope they do translated subtitles on international concerts

    Cheers!

I hope you’re right. They put Triploid grass carp in my little State Park in ‘07 and I still hate them for it. I never saw any of those people fishing. Mfkrs

I think this beer is better in the can than from the tap. Just a righteous amount a hop bitterness.

Hey BA's, getting into a rum barrel aged Porter from pFriem that i picked up in PHX. Nice rum cake flavor with hints of chocolate, cherry, and vanilla along with the barrel. Glad to have tried!

Took the day off work, to get an extra long weekend ha.

Went to lunch at Saint Arnold. Note, they are having their 28th Anniversary this weekend. I'll probably just enjoy the quiet weekday setting, instead of the massive crowds.

A wonderful, uber fresh H-Town Pils is first up. Also, finishing Ali Smith's new book Companion Piece. She is such an otherworldly writer, and I would have to ramble on and on to describe how great this book is...

A classic Amber with a Cuban Sandwich. Both H-Town and Amber are two I post here a lot, as I think their are great. In fact have six packs of both in the fridge now, but again, this is so ridiculously fresh. Oh, and that sandwich is one of the best in town.

Last for the afternoon is a 2020 Russian Imperial Stout. Yeah, this is excellent as well.

    OK, nap time..

I really enjoy it, I can normally find it pretty fresh and decently priced. The Jabberwocky is also on point. I'd almost say I like Jabberwocky better. That's a good question. I am unsure tbh. Total still had some bottles left but they are older. They had 2 other canned Lone Pint beers that are normally bottled as well.

I do like the bottles better. The cans taste just as good I just prefer having a pint instead of 12oz's. And the cans seem to have dried beer and shit in that groove. Kind of annoying, watcha gonna do tho. Cheers!
