    Last day in Southern California and the weather has warmed up to the mid 80s…sitting on our cousin’s balcony, looking at the cargo ships lined up in the bay, stretching back to the Pacific…catching a few rays and drinking “Expatriate” IPA by Three Weavers, Inglewood CA:

    Dull earthy hop nose. Bitter citrus peel and lemon rind. Simcoe, Mosaic and El Dorado. Hops seem dull. An ok WC IPA.

    ...listening to a mix John Zorn disc I burned for @champ103 - not too many Zorn music videos available, so thought I'd leave you with some Brian Jonestown Massacre...I'd really love to post JZ's 'Tekufa' from his live disc 'At The Mountains of Madness', but it just ain't out there...gotta respect the artist's copyrights, you know...just some awesome electric jazz musicianship ripping and roaring through the cut...nothing like 'Sue', but that's the eclectic bastard I am with beer and tuneage...
