    Good afternoon BA's! A hot and dry one south of Asheville with temps around 90.
    Today's choice is a straight on old school Porter from Thirsty Dog. Checks all the boxes for the style, nice beer for sure.
    Heard this tune earlier, Weiland sounded much better on the 4th album. Was sorry to see him leave this place a handful of years ago.

    Decadent Tourist German style Altbier from Levanter Brewing Company.
    So nice to see an "old school" style on the shelves.!
    A very good rendition of the style.
    I didn't find any reviews for it on here, & don't have the ability to add it.
    I'd give it a 4. Not bad, but I've had better. A bit on the bitter side, which to me distracts from the smoothness this style should offer.
    I do enjoy it though, plus it's a Pa beer, which is nice.

    Levante dabbles w/ other styles, which is nice. I just think they might take themselves too serious w/ some of the price points on their IPAs. They're really not on that level. Cheers, brother.

    You can do it from a phone as well - you have to click on the Menu item at the top and then click the arrow next to Beers to see the option.

    Wax Wings Torres Winds West Coast IPA. Passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit, grapefruit and orange zest, herbaceous dankness, tangerine, guava, mango peel, floral, earthy pine resin. Dry, clean, and bitter finish. Sadly my last can. Really dig this one.

    There was a time when I thought Tree House couldn't do any better than the base Green, and that includes Very Green. Then, when they had their 7th anniversary, this came along. Very GGGreeNNN. Tremendous! Cheers, and much love.
