What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3546

I always feel a little naughty when I pour this iconic beer into this iconic glass. Best of both worlds, IMHO. The beer is still exquisite, with that delicious floral, citrus bitterness backed up by a nice bit of sweetness from the malt. Absolutely love it.

Margaret Thatcher Naked on A Cold Day...yeah of course its a stupid Austin Powers quote...but its also a really good English Bitter from Holler. Too bad they don't do cask anymore.



Then over to a great restaurant, Da Gama. Which is Indian/Portuguese...basically sea food and curry. Which is always great, really one of my favorite restaurants in town.

I went more for the European side, than the Indian Curry side, this time. Sauteed mushrooms, that I devoured in a second...ignore the G&T (but it is excellent).


Next is True Anomaly Ben's House IPA. With, essentially a campechana. Octopus, crab, shrimp, and lots of other things mixed in ha. Perfect for this hot ass summer, and the beer paring isn't too bad either

 

The Alchemist Heady Topper Imperial IPA, 8% ABV. No glass required.

Mike, do not read medical stuff on the internet. It will depress you.

This beer is no match for the Triple Crossing IPA and DIPA I had earlier but good nonetheless.

Fiddlehead IPA ...

 

Not as good as the O.G. Rare Barrel Home Sour Home but she ain’t bad. The vanilla is faint and the cinnamon is non existent. Not a bad batch one though. Cheers BA.

 

Veltins German Pilsner. Interesting to compare something coming out of Germany to the German Pils coming out here. This is past it's due date and still stands up. The feel alone sets it apart from most. Satisfyingly soft, yet drinkable and refreshing. Dovetail comes to mind with this one.

Too freaking hot for even a Pilsner during this never ending blast furnace. Going with some tequila ranch water.
