Started at the watering hole with a Bells 2 Hearted and a Left Hand Pilsner with dinner. Back home with another ROS: 2012 Central Waters BBA Stout. This one's held up very well: malt goodness and (still) a little alcohol heat. Definitely taste the Bourbon. Good job, CW. Cheers

Finally got around to trying this one from a local brewery, I’ve seen it on their list for a while. It was pretty tasty, a little bit of sweetness but not overwhelming and a good way to end the beer night.

I’ve heard that too about what’s available in the gift shop. Varies daily but seems to be not very impressive (mostly the “basic/regular” stuff).

Sorry to hear about your recent accidents. Crashing into an open car door is a cyclist worst nightmare (could have ended a lot worse too).

When I ride my (racing) bike past parked cars I normally slow down my speed and don't trust anyone sitting in a drivers seat.

The fact that most drivers here in NL also ride bikes helps a bit. When I get out of a car myself, I normally use the so called 'Dutch-grip'. Opening the door with your right hand. This makes you look over your shoulder and in the rear-view-mirror before opening the door.

    Hope you get well soon
